Everything was either dyed with food colouring to make it "look" nice, loaded with sugar, canned, boxed, processed with chemicals, microwavable, or just plain alien food! I imagined myself as if I was person from the past that came to see the future and the way we get our food these days. Everything is foreign finding and not at all close to its natural state of the way it was meant to be!

I walked my client straight through the store explaining how all these "alien foods" were the cause of her sluggish body and metabolism and had de facto no nutritional value to them. Her biggest objection to me was that it states "diet, fat-free, zero sugar, low carb, low fat on it, so isn't it good?" My response was, that these are all very smart marketing tools that are used to make packaged and processed foods sound better so that you buy them! This also includes "the organic foods" as well that are still packaged and processed to some degree for it to be able to sit on the shelf for months and not go bad. Foods that are packaged should be avoided or consumed at a very minimal amount.
So what is there to eat if Everything is packaged or processed you may be thinking. This is a de facto good ask that I am asked often. My easiest tip that I can give without getting too detailed and rambling on is; "if it is not in the state that nature intended it to be, then it should be eaten minimally." Foods are grown in a definite way with all the nutritional value in it when it is in its ripe form without having to do whatever to it. I know that this may seem phenomenal or not the "normal way" to what you are used to, but speaking with a holistic nutritionist to guide you slowly in the right direction will make your transition run super smoothly!
